Rosanne E. O'Boyle, 63, of East Lafayette Place in Wilkes-Barre died Thursday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born 19 September 1945 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Bernard Cobb and Frances McAndrew Cobb Matukaitis.
A graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, Rosanne continued her education at Nesbitt Memorial Hospital School of Nursing becoming a registered nurse and earned her bachelors degree in nursing education from Wilkes University. She later attended business classes, studying accounting at King's College.
Rosanne taught nursing at St. Joseph's Hospital in Lancaster and Nesbitt Memorial Hospital School of Nursing for several years. For the past fifteen years she had been employed by Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania as manager of the HEDIS department.
Mrs. O'Boyle was an active member of the Parish of St. Therese and its choir.
An infant son, Ryan preceded her in death.

grandchildren, Annabel Grace and Liam Thomas Dobash of Wilkes-Barre
and dozens of cousins
Funeral will be held Tuesday at 09:30 AM from McLaughlin Family Funeral Service 142 SOUTH WASHINGTON STREET WILKES-BARRE with Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Therese's Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
