Samuel Anthony Joseph, 75, a native of Kingston and long-time Florida resident died Saturday in Boca Raton.
Born February 24, 1936 in Kingston he was a son of the late Samuel and Bea Saba Joseph.
A graduate of Saints Peter and Paul High School in Miami, he continued his education at the University of Notre Dame and University of Miami.
Samuel was a highly regarded general contractor in Miami, Orlando and Boca Raton before retiring.
His sister, Helene Zaydon preceded him in death in 1985.
He will be missed by his wife, the former Janice Thomas; children, Samuel and his wife Melissa Joseph of Treasure Island, Florida, Jolie and her husband Mark Spelman of Orlando, Florida and Thomas Joseph of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Joshua and Aaron Joseph, and Peter and Callie Spelman; sister, Anne and her husband Dr. Edward Soma of Kensington, Maryland.
Celebration of Samuel’s Life will be held Thursday at 10:30 from McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Divine Liturgy at 11 AM in Saint Anthony's Maronite Church. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.
Visitation will be held at McLaughlin's on Thursday from 9 to 10 AM.
