Sheila Gordon

October 21, 1936 — April 10, 2010

Sheila Mooney Gordon, 73, of Shickshinny Lake entered eternal life on Saturday.

Born October 21, 1936 in New Haven, Connecticut she was the only child of the late Terence and Nan Connors Mooney.

Sheila graduated from Saint Mary's High School in New Haven where she was a cheerleader. She worked at Southern New England Telephone Company, as a legal secretary for attorneys Belford and Belford in New Haven, and for various retail companies. However, for most of her life she was a homemaker, serving as family mediator and maintaining her high school supporting role of cheerleader.

Sheila and her husband, Al would have celebrated their fifty-third wedding anniversary on September 16th.

Intelligent and athletic, she had a great sense of humor, loved swimming, and was an excellent dancer.
