Stanley C. Bigoski

Stanley C. Bigoski, 77, of Kingston died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, September 16, 2013.

Born March 22, 1936 in Wilkes-Barre he was a son of the late Stanley and Nella Sharkey Bigoski.

A graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Stan continued his education at Wilkes University and earned his Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Finance.

An Air Force veteran he proudly served our country for two years during the Vietnam Era.

Stan was the Controller for Chaucer Press in Pittston and Hanover Township for more than twenty-five years.

A lifetime sports enthusiast, Stan was a fan of the New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed spending time with friends at Curry Donut in Wilkes-Barre.

He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Janet Mesen of St. Petersburg, Florida and Donna and her husband Chris Caruso of Orlando, Florida; grandsons, Simon and Damian Mesen; a brother: Jack Bigoski of Norristown; other family and friends.

Celebration of Stan’s Life will be held Friday with visitation beginning at 5 PM at McLaughlin's - The Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. A time for sharing memories will begin at 7:30 PM.
