Susan Bamrick Dobash, 89, a life resident of Wilkes-Barre Township died Sunday at Little Flower Manor.
Born April 15, 1921 she was a daughter of the late Michael and Susan Leslie Bamrick.
Through the years, Susan received her education and raised her family in Georgetown.
Mrs. Dobash was a long time member of Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church and American Legion Post 815 Auxiliary.
Her husband, John J. Dobash died February 21, 1990. A son, Charles, sisters, Mae Jump, Helen Yentock, Gertrude Walsh and Rose Clayworth, and brothers, Michael and Charles Bamrick also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, John Dobash of Mountain Top, Elaine Kotulski of Groton, Connecticut and Catherine Walker of Albany, New York; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Susan’s Life will begin Thursday at 9:30 AM with Panachida at McLaughlin's Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Reverend Mykhaylo Prodanets presiding over Divine Liturgy at 10 AM in Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.
Visitation will be held at McLaughlin’s on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM. Parastas will begin at 7 PM.
