Susan Kay Terascavage

Susan Kay Tesascavage, 64, of Hanover Township and formerly of Harvey’s Lake, died October 31, 2018.

Born December 12, 1953 in Sunbury she was a daughter of Mary-Ellen Stankiewicz Mitchell and the late Steve Maskowski.

Susan was a 1972 graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School in Wilkes-Barre.

Susan dedicated most of her life to caring for her family. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed sharing her talents and loved riding her bike around the lake.

Her husband, Joseph L. Terascavage, died February 19, 2014. Her step-father, Zigmund Stankiewicz, also preceded her in death.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Danielle Terascavage-Sorber and her husband Robert of Hunlock Creek; grandchildren, Ruby, Molly-Emma and Brayden; mother, Mary-Ellen; brothers, Steve, Daniel, Earl and Scott Maskowski; sister, Tammy Blessing; step-mother, Betty Maskowski; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Celebration of Susan’s Life will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 with visitation beginning at 2 PM and a time of remembrance beginning at 3 PM at McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre.
