Suzanne O'Hara

Suzanne O'Hara, 76, of Wilkes-Barre peacefully passed away at her home on Monday, November 7, 2016.

Born September 18, 1940 she was a daughter of the late Joseph Iorio of California and Louise Sellitto Iorio of Wilkes-Barre.

The most important part of Suzanne’s life was her family. She will be greatly missed by her children, Kathleen and her husband William Craig of Thetford, Vermont, Gerald J. Jr. and his wife Lauretta O'Hara of Sugarloaf, John and his wife Debbie O'Hara of Mountain Lake, Suzanne Leseberg of Plains, Marlene and her husband Brian 'Sam' Robbins of Harrisburg, James and his wife Denise O'Hara of Plymouth Mountain, Dr. Mary Beth O'Hara and her husband Donald Mulhern of Lewisburg and Anthony J. and his wife Anita O'Hara of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Brendan Duffy, Alison Workman, Martha Duffy, Ann and Catherine Craig, Gerald J. III, Michael, Jacob, Morgan and Marina O’Hara, Cory and Christopher O’Hara, Christina Hauser, Katherine Marie Czeciuk, Joel, Timothy, Madeleine, Peter, Dean and Eric Robbins, James, Jr., Sarah and Joseph O’Hara, Nadia, Anastasia and Patrick Mulhern, Delaney and Braden O’Hara; great-grandchildren, Naomi O’Hara, Jeanette O’Hara, Gavin, Grace, Faith, Joshua and Zane Czeciuk; former husband, life partner and best friend, Gerald J. O'Hara; nieces, nephews other family and friends.

A brother, Francis Iorio, preceded her in death.

Celebration of Suzanne’s Life will begin Thursday with visitation from 5 to 8 PM at McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre and continue there Friday with gathering at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in the Church of the Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery.

Memorial donations are preferred and may be made to Saint Vincent de Paul Kitchen in Wilkes-Barre.
