Consider hobbies, subjects of interest and places where the person spent much of her or his time. It can help to make lists of their passions, achievements and memories you shared together. There are a number of ways that these lists can be incorporated into a service:
PHOTOS AND ALBUMS
There are many opportunities to display photos at a funeral or memorial service. Our guest families have chosen to display framed photos, albums from home, and photo montages on poster boards during their planned life celebration events. You can choose to have any or all of these displays present. Another option is to consider a custom photo memorial card as a keepsake.
VIDEOS
A video we create with your photos is a beautiful way to share the life of the person you love with others. We can personalize it with your unique pictures and preferred music. These videos are keepsakes that you can share with your family for generations. We provide digital copies of the video.
ARTWORK
Artwork treasured or created by the one you love, or art created in tribute to them, is a beautiful addition to a service. Sculptures, a slideshow of drawings, or artwork displayed throughout our event space help people learn more about a life that was cherished.
MUSIC
Live or pre-recorded music can relax and comfort those who have come to the service. Other ways to incorporate music are to create a playlist of the favorite songs of the one you love, or songs they wrote, or to have musically inclined family or friends perform at the funeral service.
READINGS OF POETRY & LITERATURE
Passages from the favorite books of the one you love or poems that capture their essence or the essence of life help create a service infused with wisdom and words to remember. You can also invite friends and family to read passages or poems of their choice or share their words of remembrance.
